
Glen M. Richard, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) in 1985, where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.
Glen has been involved with investment real estate which consists of office, multifamily, retail, industrial, mobile home parks, and raw land for clients, partners, and his own account for over 20 years. He ventured on his own in 2001 and put together a team of real estate professionals superior to most firms in the market place. Champion Real Estate Services, LLC is a leader in the industry throughout Louisiana with its team holding designations of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), CPM (Certified Property Manager), and CMB (Certified Mortgage Banker). His personal objective remains, which is to provide superior commercial real estate services by providing the key members of the Champion team financial incentives such as ownership in equities and participation in the profits of the company. At the age of 45, he has direct involvement with well over $1,000,000,000 and 10,000,000 square feet in commercial leases and sales.
His primary focus has been Class A Office, acquiring 1,375,000 square feet located in the Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans markets. He also purchased over 200,000 square feet in retail, 400,000 in industrial, 5 mobile home parks, over 400 apartment units, and over 150 acres in commercial land. Glen has always acted as managing partner responsible for all aspects of operations such as management, leasing, marketing, tenant retention, and finance. Glen is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), playing a huge role with his successes in practicing professional commercial real estate. The Society has high standards for ethics and production of buying, selling, and leasing commercial real estate. It involves advanced education and seminars mandating attendance twice yearly to conventions throughout the North American continent. The Society has provided Glen relations that led to referrals and participation in commercial transactions throughout the country.
He is an active community participant and is a member of the Kiwanis of Acadiana, Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, University of Louisiana Alumni, National Association of Realtors, Our Lady of Fatima Church and Elementary School, St. Thomas More High School, and sponsors the University of Louisiana Athletics, multiple youth and adult soccer, softball, baseball, and non profit activities.
Glen is married to the former Debbie Henderson and has resided in Lafayette for 24 years. He has two children, Hayley and Blake.
