Isaac is a native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. He attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana for two semesters starting in the fall of 1975 and spring of 1976.

In May 1976 Isaac enlisted in the United States Air Force. He attended basic training in San Antonio, Texas. In July of 1976 he attended technical school at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. In November of 1976 until July of 1977, he attended advance training in electronics, electrical, and pneumatics for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning controls. After training, Isaac was assigned to Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana where he received his associate’s degree in industrial technology for mechanical and electrical systems applications from the Community College of the Air Force. At Barksdale Isaac was assigned to Eight Air Force Command Center where he was in charge of operations. He was assigned to Kunsun Air Force Base, Korea in 1979. At Kunsun he was in charge of field operations for the base. His last assignment was at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Isaac departed the Air Force at the end of his enlistment in 1981.

In 1981 he began working for Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was Lourdes’ HVAC engineer and was responsible for all of the HVAC throughout the medical center complex for maintenance and new construction.

In 1986 Isaac began working for Andrus Development and Management Company. He was the operating engineer in charge of operations for our office buildings and two shopping centers.

In 1991 Isaac began working for Chevron Real Estate and Management Company, Lafayette, Louisiana, as chief engineer. He was in charge of all electrical and mechanical systems and operations and maintenance. He was also in charge of all EMS (Energy Management Systems) for Chevron facilities in the state of Louisiana. This included installation, programming, and repair. This also included installation and repair of security systems. He supervised as many as twenty employees.

During his tenure at Chevron, he was trained in Process Improvement and Team Building. Energy Management Systems (Johnson Controls), Metalink Application Engineering (Johnson Controls), Job Accident Analysis (Root Cause Analysis), Database Management and Generation (Johnson Controls), and R.B.I. (Positive Reinforcement Base Improvement).

He also received numerous recognition awards at Chevron. In 1994 he was awarded Recognition of Excellence for the installation of the energy management systems in Lafayette and New Orleans. Also in 1994, he was awarded Recognition of Excellence for dramatically reducing the energy consumption and related costs at Acadiana Place in Lafayette. In 1996 he was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for being “Better than the Best” and in 1998 the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Safety.

In June 1999 Isaac began working for Property One Real Estate and Management Company as chief engineer of the Lafayette operations. He was direct supervisor of ten employees and responsible for the operations of eighteen buildings and four trailer parks, which included the operation and maintenance of all of the electrical and mechanical systems.

April 1, 2001 Isaac joined the Champion Real Estate Service team of professionals as director of engineering. He has received numerous awards for his knowledge and excellence of performance. Isaac is involved in community, church, youth, and adult sport activities in Breaux Bridge, Lafayette, and St. Martinville. He resides in Parks, Louisiana and is married to Rachael Ann George of St. Martinville, Louisiana. Together they have five children and eight grandchildren.
